The US administration has asked Pakistan for an explanation over how Osama bin Laden managed to stay hidden on its soil for so long. Bin Laden was living in a high-security, multi-million mansion in a densely populated city near the country’s leading military academy. John Brennan, the chief counter-terrorism adviser to President Barack Obama, said in an interview on Monday, "People have been referring to this as hiding in plain sight. We are looking at how he was able to hide out there for so long." He further added that it was unimaginable that the Al-Qaeda leader didn’t have a "support system" inside Pakistan.
