Russian FM in Washington for Talks

Sergei Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, arrived in Washington Tuesday for a convention of the Middle East Quartet and talks with US President Obama, a Russian embassy spokesperson said. During the trip, Lavrov will also have a meeting with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to talk about Obama’s trip to Moscow scheduled for later this year. The talks between US and Russian top officials will focus on European missile defense, a bilateral adoption deal and visa issues.
