Russia ‘Disappointed’ On NATO’s Reluctance To Discuss Kosovo

Russia expressed its displeasure over NATO’s unwillingness to discuss Kosovo; “Russia’s permanent mission to NATO is disappointed with the reluctance of its partners to discuss the situation in Kosovo at the NATO-Russia Council,” Dmitry Rogozin, a member of Russia’s NATO envoy told reporters on Wednesday. Rogozin in an interview with RIA Novosti further said that Moscow regards Kosovo as a “serious destabilizing factor in the Balkans.”

Four NATO members and six Serb protestors were injured on the Serbian-Kosovo border on Tuesday. NATO officials claim the situation has since returned to normal.
