Rehman Malik Visits Iran as President Zardari’s Special Envoy

Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Tuesday left for Iran as President Asif Ali Zardari’s special envoy. The minister is due to meet President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran and convey him a special message from the president of Pakistan. Mr. Malik will also meet his counterpart in Iran to discuss issues of mutual interest including regional security matters.
