Pakistan Test Fires Nuclear-Capable Cruise Missile, Babur

Pakistan on Friday successfully test fired its nuclear cruise missile Babur. The “Hatf VII” missile has a range of 700 kilometers and is capable of carrying nuclear warheads. The military said the missile was “low-flying, terrain-hugging missile with high maneuverability, pin-point accuracy and radar avoidance features”.

Friday’s launch showcased the three tubes MLV which allows for greater accuracy in targeting and deployment than other weapons. The multi-tube missile launch vehicle (MLV) displayed, according to the military statements was a new feature.
