Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasarallah on Wednesday described the recent speeches by Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and US President Obama as a knockout blow to Arab peace efforts. He called on the Arab League to pull out of its Middle-East peace initiatives. “What have Obama and Netanyahu left for the Palestinian people, Palestinian Authority and Palestinians factions?” Nasarallah questioned in a live video address to a rally marking Israel’s pullout from southern Lebanon in the year 2000. “The Palestinians have only resistance to achieve liberation,” he added. Additionally, he spoke in support of Syria’s government and that Assad truly means to implement reform.
