Delhi High Court Bombing: HuJI Mail Link Traced To Jammu and Kashmir

Security officials in India traced a Harkat-ul-Jihad al Islami (HuJI) email to a cyber café in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on the Wednesday. In the email, the group claims responsibility for the Delhi High Court blast which killed 11 and injured over 70, and demands for the repeal of Afzal Guru’s death sentence. Guru’s mercy petition, asking for life sentence instead of the death penalty is currently under review by President Patil.

The National Investigative Agency (NIA) has taken up the scrutiny and is currently verifying the authenticity of the emails.
