Lockheed Martin Corp., the largest military contractor in the world and the US government’s leading technology provider, has come under hackers’ attack in what officials describe as “significant and tenacious” cyber assault. The Maryland-based firm said in a statement on Saturday that it foiled the cyber attack but didn’t provide further details. The American government is reportedly working with Lockheed to ease vulnerability concerns. The firm, which also manufactures missiles, said that no employee, program or customer personal data was affected due to instant protective measures taken following the detection of the attack on May 21st.
