Pakistan on Monday said that the death of Osama bin Laden was a major setback for global terror organizations. “This operation was conducted by the U.S. Forces in accordance with declared U.S. policy that Osama bin Laden will be eliminated in a direct action by the U.S. Forces, wherever found in the world,” said a message from the foreign ministry. Meanwhile, Pakistani Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani described the killing of Bin Laden as a “great victory”. When asked whether Pakistani forces participated in the operation, Gilani replied, “I don’t know the details, I don’t know minute details, but in short we have intelligence cooperation”.
