Charitable organizations from Saudi Arabia and the UAE funded an outfit in Pakistan which recruited kids as young as eight to participate in holy war, a Pakistani newspaper reported Sunday, quoting Wikileaks. A US cable released by Wikileaks claimed assistance estimated at 100 million dollars annually was coming from these Gulf nations to a militant recruitment outfit operating in the Punjab province. Asked to comment on the report, Saudi Arabia’s foreign ministry spokesperson Usama Nugali said he wouldn’t talk about any reports from Wikileaks since Saudi Arabia isn’t responsible for those reports.
