Pak Offers Discounted JF-17 Fighter Jet

The JF-17 fighter jets jointly produced by Pakistan and China debuted at Dubai’s air show on Sunday. The jets were offered at a high discount to compete with western manufacturers. The jets were offered at a competitive price, with 3 JF-17’s costing the same as one F-16. The aircraft a lightweight combat jet specialized in low distance interception. The joint venture by the Aviation Industry of Corporation China and Pakistan Air force boasts excellent handling qualities and modern interface.

The bi annual Dubai Aircraft Show which will continue till Thursday showcases some 1000 aviation models from over 50 countries. The organizers claimed over $26 billion worth of orders have been received on the first day alone.
