Context
According to Israeli media the country could launch an attack on Iran’s nuclear site without much prior notice to its closest ally, US. These reports indicate that Israel’s Defense Minister Ehud Barak has told US Gen Martin Dempsey that Israel will give US no more than 12 hours notice before striking Iran.
Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated the message saying that an early warning on Israel’s intentions will not be provided to the US. Israel is training its elite 35th Paratroopers Brigade for a long-range operation against Iran.
US has cancelled a joint antimissile exercise with Israel for its non-cooperation, which was scheduled to be held in April.
