10 Militants Killed In Fighting With FC in Balochistan

At least 10 militants had been killed in the deadly clash with the paramilitary force in Behlol area near Chamalang coalfield in Balochistan. In November last year, an ambush in Behlol had left 10 soldiers dead, including a Major.

The fighting took place when FC was establishing a check post and the 10-armed men opened fire on them. They were killed when the FC reciprocated to the fire. Security forces had launched a fresh operation against the militants allegedly belonging to the Marri tribe.

During the operation, arrests have also been made and shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation. The press release issued by FC spokesperson on Monday stated that security forces have cleared the Behlol area and the coalmine project will resume soon.
