US authorities labeled Pakistan’s spy agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), as a terror outfit along with 36 other organizations including Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas and Iran’s intelligence, according to new WikiLeaks cables relating to Guantanamo detainees. The revelation comes just days after the top US military official Adm. Mike Mullen openly blamed the ISI of connections with terror groups like Haqqani network. According to the cables, American investigators were told to consider detainees’ connections to any of the 36 outfits, including the ISI, a sign of insurgent or terrorist activity.
