Context
A bomb blast took place outside a bus near the Jerusalem Conference Center in central Jerusalem on Wednesday afternoon. Around 29 people were injured in the explosion, three of them seriously. Authorities suspect that a bag carrying explosives was placed at the bus station, which later exploded. The area was sealed off and police was searching for other explosive devices. The last major terror related incident occurred in Israel on March 6, 2008. The event has caused Binyamin Netanyahu to delay his official trip to Moscow.
