Context
According to Lieutenant General Sergey Karakayev, new Russian RS-24 ICBMs (intercontinental ballistic missiles) will become capable of overcoming any missile defense system for the next 15 or 20 years. Official of RSVN (Russian Strategic Rocket Forces) stated that its ICBMs will soon become “invincible”. The statement is being considered as a thinly-veiled warning to NATO, which according to Russia is uninterested in working with it in the European missile defense program
