Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Sunday that Israeli arms were coming to Karachi. He also said foreign elements were responsible for the city’s deteriorating situation. Talking to journalists at Islamabad airport, Malik said that nobody was above the law. His remarks were with regard to the arrest of N-League MNA Anjum Aqeel. The interior minister further said that ties with MQM were friendly and that Chaudhry Shujat Hussain was asked to continue negotiations with the party for a reunion.
