The Afghan foreign minister Dr. Zalmai Rassoul stated on Sunday the Taliban may participate in the Bonn Conference if the reconciliation process moves forward satisfactorily. The second Bonn conference on the future of Afghanistan is due to be held on Dec 5th.
Meanwhile, Karzai had claimed on June 18 if the Taliban were to participate , they would as part of the Afghan delegation, and not separately.
