Context
A female suicide attacker attacked a police checkpoint with a handcart bomb in Peshawar on Thursday morning. This was part of a three separate assaults that left at least seven persons dead and wounded 42 others. One of the incident occurred in the Lahori Gate area while the other took place on City Circular Road. The Tehreek-e- Taliban Pakistan (TTP) took responsibility for the attacks.
