Pakistan To Send More Troops To Bahrain

According to media reports, Pakistan has agreed to send more troops to Bahrain to help the current government crackdown on protests in the country. On his day long visit to Bahrain recently, Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari met with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to discuss the dispatch of Pakistani soldiers to aid the current regime suppress anti government movements.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia provide a significant number of soldiers and policemen to Bahrain to deal with the ongoing unrest in the Persian Gulf.
