Pakistan has conveyed its objections on the discussion of Balochistan issue in the US Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee. Foreign office spokesman Abdul Basit stated that US government should not interfere in the internal issues of Pakistan. He added that Washington fully understands Pakistan position on this subject. Commenting on Iran’s issue, he said the volatile region cannot afford outbreak of war, and the issue should be resolved with negotiations.

Chairman of Pakistan’s Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) Senator Raza Rabbani stated, “The US is trying to internationalize the issue and foreign office of Pakistan should explain its stance as it’s a domestic and sensitive issue.”
