A senior Israeli navy official on Tuesday said terror outfits close to Israel possess missiles capable of targeting Israeli ports as well as offshore infrastructure like oil rigs. Brig. Gen. Yaron Levi, head of naval intelligence, referred to the issue during a summit in Tel Aviv University to discuss the naval threat. Levi also reminded the listeners that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said recently that if Israel enforced a naval siege against Lebanon as part of another conflict between the two nations, Hezbollah would answer with missiles targeting Israeli installations at sea.
