Iranian Threat Pushing Saudi Arabia Towards Nuclear Cooperation With Pakistan

Iran’s nuclear activity have made its neighbors especially Saudi Arabia nervous about its ambitions. According to a report of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Iran has installed centrifuges in its uranium enrichment facility in Natanz. Media reports indicate the Saudi royal family is mulling over whether to use American assistance in developing nuclear reactors, or to start its own program with Pakistan’s help. Riyadh allegedly funded Islamabad’s nuclear program on the condition of nuclear cooperation if Saudi Arabia decided to develop a nuclear program of its own.
