Gunmen on a motorbike shot dead an Iranian scientist outside his house and injured his wife, Iranian media reported on Saturday. The assassination bore similarities to other killings of physicists involved in nuclear work in recent times. The victim was identified as Darioush Rezaei, 35, a physics professor who was working for the country’s nuclear program. Several nuclear scientists have been killed in Iran in recent times in attacks that Tehran blames on Israel and the US.
