An Indonesian man suspected of involvement in bomb blasts in Bali Island was arrested in Pakistan along with militants belonging to a local Islamist group, according to senior government officials. Security analysts believe that the capture of Omar Patek is significant as he is amongst the few who could tell authorities about the connections and nature of cooperation between Islamists groups operating in Asia. Bomb blasts at nightclubs in Bali had killed more than 200 people in 2002.
