On the same day when Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar arrived in New Delhi for discussions, Indian Air Force chief P.K. Naik warned Islamabad of severe nuclear retaliation if it was to use nuclear weapons against India. Talking to reporters on Tuesday, Naik said India had a “no first use” nuclear policy, but would deliver “a very hard response” to nuclear assaults. “Our response would be absolutely violent as per our doctrine,” he added. Pakistan recently test-fired its Hatf-9 missile that can deliver nuclear war heads up to 60 kilometers.
