Making provocative remarks again, Jamat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed has pledged to enter India via Jammu and Kashmir. Saeed, who is the founder of the outlawed Lashkar-e-Taiba and accused by India for plotting the 2008 Mumbai massacre, announced: “From the door of Kashmir we will launch Gazwah-e-Hind (battle for Hindustan)”. Speaking at a gathering during his tour of several Pakistani cities last week, Saeed claimed there had been a secret deal between Israel and India to “destroy Pakistan’s nuclear assets”. New Delhi has been urging Islamabad to act against Saeed who continues making anti-India remarks and wandering freely in Pakistan. His statement came as foreign secretaries of India and Pakistan met today in New Delhi, to lay the groundwork for the foreign ministers meeting tomorrow.
