Authorities in China responsible for the manned space program on Monday unveiled plans to develop a 60-ton space station, consisting of three capsules and build a cargo spaceship for transporting supplies. According to details provided by the China Manned Space Engineering Office, the space station, consisting of a core section and two others in which tests will be carried out, weighs around 60 tons. The space station is expected to be completed by 2010.
