The US has had “limited contacts” with Muslim Brotherhood, the largest Islamic organization in Egypt, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Thursday. She stressed that Washington wished to “engage with all parties” in quest of peace and non-violence after Egypt’s uprising. Muslim Brotherhood enjoys strong following in the country but was outlawed under former president Hosni Mubarak. The organization plans to compete in parliamentary elections due to be held in September.
