China to Pillage Wreckage of the Downed Stealth Helicopter

Context

Pakistan may allow Chinese officials to plunder the remains of a wrecked US top-secret stealth helicopter at Bin Laden’s compound. The helicopter crashed during the military operation that killed the Al-Qaeda leader. US Navy Seals tried to destroy the helicopter to conceal its secrets; however, some portions survived the blast- including the especially designed tail. Though the Pentagon has asked Pakistan to return the wreckage, there seems no possibility of that happening. Instead, Pakistani officials are more willing to hand over the helicopter to China. ABC News quoted one official as saying, “We might let [the Chinese] take a look,” after China expressed interest in its design.
