Six people were injured in a suspected bomb attack on Saturday at a hospital in the Indian city of Agra. Preliminary investigations suggest the explosion was caused by a bomb placed under a seat in the reception area of the hospital. Additional Director General of Police, Brij Lal told the Press Trust of India, an anti terror team had been sent to investigate the explosion.
This attack follows bombings in Mumbai and Delhi earlier this year. India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said recent bomb blasts in Mumbai and New Delhi were “grim reminders of the grave challenges posed by terrorism. He stressed better intelligence was needed to combat the problem.
