In a message on Tuesday, Al Qaeda leader Ayman al Zawahri claimed credit for this year’s Arab Uprising. Zawahri’s speech came as the world marked the decade anniversary of the September 11 attacks. In his message titled “The Dawn of Imminent Victory,” the militant leader said “By striking the head of the world criminal, al Qaeda forced America to press its allies in the Middle East to change their policies, which helped the “Arab Volcano” to build and explode.” Zawahri urged the Arabs to bring in Islamic rule, and warned other countries would follow the likes of Libya, Egypt and Syria in getting rid of corrupt leaders.
