Israel to Spend $1bn on Iron Dome Anti-Missile System

Maj. Gen. [R] Udi Shani, director general of Israel’s Defense Ministry, said that his country planned to invest almost $1bn for the production and development of Iron Dome missile defense system in the coming years. Shani also revealed that five nations have expressed their interest in the technology, especially after it successfully intercepted rockets fired from Gaza last month.
