As some key Middle Eastern and northern African Muslim countries pass through civil unrest, President Zardari visited Kuwait to attend the 50th Independence Day celebrations. His visit signals Pakistan’s support for the government of Kuwait, and was widely covered by the media of Kuwait. At a time when the oil prices are expected to rise due to spreading crisis in Middle East, Kuwait has agreed to provide Pakistan $2 dollar worth of oil on deferred payments.
