Cameron Visits Saudi Arabia As Iranian Tensions Rise

British Prime Minister David Cameron held talks Friday with Saudi King Abdullah in Riyadh. The visit came amidst rising tension between Tehran and Saudi Arabia and as western governments step up sanctions over Tehran’s nuclear program.

The talks focused on regional and international developments as well as strengthening cooperation between Britain and Saudi Arab. The annual bilateral trade between the two countries is worth 15 billion pounds and Saudi investments in Britain amount to 62 billion pounds.
