Iran expressed its consent on Thursday towards holding nuclear talks in Turkey. Speaker of Iran’s Majiles, Ali Larijini, stated in Ankara, “Our Turkish brothers think that negotiations should take place in Turkey, and of course we are positive for holding these talks in Turkey,” adding that Iran wants negotiations to be serious this time.

This came when the Western powers are pressing sanctions on Iran to force it to abandon its nuclear ambition. Turkey also hosted an unsuccessful round of nuclear talks in January 2011 between Iran and G5+1 countries.
