According to media reports, Iran has agreed to completely finance the Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project. The reports further indicated that the project was delayed for two years due to pressure from Western countries and sanctions on Iran.
“To speed up the progress, Iranian Oil Ministry officials have proposed that Iran is ready to invest in the construction of the pipeline inside Pakistan” Fars news stated.
