Context

The Balance of Power is swinging back in favor of Sunni’s and Saudi, Egypt, Jordan, and Israeli Alliance. Particularly when these Sunni Arab countries are gesturing that Iranian pursuit of Nuclear weapons is a bigger issue than the Israel-Palestinian conflict. Moreover, Initial American diplomatic posturing towards Iran have not brought any easing of relations between Iran and US relations thus far. Meanwhile US formally ask Saudi Arabia to play its influence with the religious elements and Taliban in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
