Washington and Moscow will organize joint nuclear security drills in early August for training in procedures to ensure safe carriage of nuclear warheads. According to the schedule, representatives from both the countries will need to foil a terror assault during the delivery of a nuclear warhead. “Enemies” will use home-produced explosives to attack the vehicle used for the device’s delivery. The exercise, called Crimson Rider, is due to be held at Camp Guernsey Base in Wyoming, according to the US State Department. Russia’s defense ministry will send officials from the department dealing with technical and nuclear security.
