Speaker of Iran’s Majiles, Ali Larijini, stated in Ankara, “Our Turkish brothers think that negotiations should take place in Turkey, and of course we are positive for holding these talks in Turkey,” adding that Iran wants negotiations to be serious this time.

This came when the Western powers are pressing sanctions on Iran to force it to abandon its nuclear ambition. Turkey also hosted an unsuccessful round of nuclear talks in January 2011 between Iran and G5+1 countries.

Three people were killed and 15 were injured in a bomb blast in the Turkish capital of Ankara. The explosion took place on Tuesday, when a parked vehicle with an LPG fuel tank blew up. The explosion caused other automobiles in the vicinity to also catch fire and explode. Nearby shops were damaged due to the blast as well.

The Turkish Interior Minister İdris Naim Şahin told journalists the cause of the explosion was still uncertain, but suggested it could be a possible terrorist attack. According to reports, the vehicle was newly purchased and its official notary transfer to its new owner was incomplete.
